Hello my name is jib and you've probably heard of lord of the craft. If you havent then allow me to explain.
Lord of the Craft is a role-playing server, which has been going for around a year now. It's community pulls together amazing competitions and events which are both fun and entertaining. Its good for just relaxing on an evening and rping for an hour or so.
The lord of the craft is not a role-play game such as Runescape or Wow, but is text-based, meaning that your interactions are done by typing before your eyes.
Lord of the Craft is set in the World of Asulon, With four races Humans, Elves, Orcs and Dwarves. There are also a couple more, The Mori'Quessir and the Kharyyjr.
When i first joined i was Immediately taken in by the role-play and soon was going on there for quite a bit. HOWEVER if it is your first time on a rp server you may be quite confused and wanting to do the normal minecraft things.
A normal minecraft server is quite fun to build and mine with mates, but in lord of the craft you can escape prisons or become a healer, the possibilites are endless.
To join you'll need to apply, but It takes about an hour, which isnt much if you balance that out over a week, its only about 10 minutes of your time.
If your thinking about the catch, its probably the enchanted land, its quite big and you'll need to walk out quite a bit to do free-building, and you'll also have to build rply, gravity is a main factor.
There are skirmishs and wars, which hardly ever happen on SMP, which is always fun and packed with role-play.
It has 250-300 slots, and updates as quickly as it can.
Overall here's the pros and cons.
+ Very good role-play and possibilities.
+ Amazing team and architecture.
+Very amazing admins and forum mods.
- Wilds is VERY far away, and building isnt as easy as normal mc.
- Time zones can be difficult to rp (Nobody can stop that)

Also with their skills system, you cant just max out on everything and be 100 at it. You have to pick a skill and follow that path.
