Skins:

While there are still some amazing skins out there, and quite a lot of them, teen skins annoy me. Not all girls wear eyeliner and skimpy clothes, and not all boys wear headphones and hoodies. Some teen skins are done in a way that doesn't stereotype but the majority do.

Updates:

Do we really need slime blocks and vacumn shoes in vanilla minecraft? We can just install a mod for that. The new underwater snapshot adds useful and exciting features but recently I've noticed these snapshots are becoming more like mods! Why don't Mojang add more biomes or tools rather than one, usless block. However I do really like the customizable worlds aswell as the underwater biomes! (You can ask me for ideas Mojang!)

Servers:

I notice that quite a few vanilla/survival servers are really under populated nowadays. Don't get me wrong, I love mini games but they don't offer the highs (and lows!) of vanilla mc. There are some sucessful vanilla/survial servers but compared to the massive player base of mc, they only get a tiny % of players in comparison to the big hub and mini games servers!

Thanks for reading!

I agree. I think they're looking for a more fantasized type feel to vanilla, instead of more engineering and useful blocks and tools. Don't get me wrong, I think this would be great for a modpack, but in default Minecraft I don't think it fits. I think more realistic biomes would be a good fit, or an updated snow biome. Also cabins and more random structures and NPC's would make it feel a little more realistic and engineery.

I think igloos in the ice plains would be cool, as well as tree houses :D

If you don't like the new blocks, just don't use them. I find it interesting that people always complains that the updates make minecraft "not like minecraft". People probably thought so when 1.2 came out, but we all love the things we got there now (except from jungles, of course). If you donn't like how Mojang make minecraft, they have been so kind that they let you use the old versions, so you don't need to use the newest update. As to adding biomes, I think that's a bit bigger job than just "adding " a biome. I think the generation code has to be rewritten, which makes the current seeds unusable. Some don't care, but some do...

I know this is 3 years old and you likely won't read it, but Jungles are really useful now for parrots.
