Minecraft Laggy For 1.5?!

Hey guys HCG here and i u[dated minecraft to 1.5 and i was gonna make a mansion with Quartz, then when i joined my new world i was laggy... Laggy as Crap. so i closed Minecraft and forced updated, still laggy so i turned off computer and I opened Minecraft STILL LAGGY! i've tried messing with the Options and more! i've gone to Mojang websites and asked no help. so im hoping one of you guys will help, Yes ive reverted minecraft to 1.4.7, i had no lag in Render Far (Thats what i always play on) so then i knew it was 1.5 what is making this happening. if ANYONE can help me i will give them a Huge Thanks and a shout out

DUDE! i Fixed It!!!! Heres how

%appdata%
.minecraft
DELETE ALL THE FILES THAT ARE FOR MODS (That dont come with regular Minecraft)
Screen Shots (Delete If you wanna)
open minecraft force update and Done!
Hope it helped

MAKE SURE YOU KNOW THE IP TO ALL OF THE SERVERS YOU PLAY ON

im getting the same problem here. Im only getting 25-40 fps and I used to get 50-70. I noticed one HUGE thing. Turn off smoothlighting. HUGE difference. I reached 110 fps on the ground!
