Lots of people argue about which is better, Minecraft or Roblox.
This is my opinion about this subject and my ratings on the two games.
(Don't hate me for my opinion, just post in the comments your opinion)

Roblox
A game made for people that like building projects and game that don't have enough money to buy programming tools or don't have time to get a tutor in programming. [Based on Legos]
Minecraft
Sandbox-voxel based-indie game made for people with creativity (until the adventure update) and don't know how to or don't want to program everything into a game. [Based on other voxel games]
Differences
Graphics- Minecraft has simple 16x16 graphics (without texture packs) so it can run fast on mostcomputers.
Roblox has 1 color for each brick (block) in it. Runs very fast.
Edibility- Minecraft can be modded, it's textures can be changed, and a whole lot more. Basically,every thing can be edited in Minecraft.
Roblox can't be modified except for your character to my knowledge. (Making games and making things in games don't count)
In-game Creation- You can create almost anything in Minecraft with some limitations.
Roblox, you can make almost anything if you know how to use Java.
Gameplay- Minecraft is survival or creation, plenty to explore and create, has a fast paced andstrategy filled gameplay. It's good if you like creating games and fighting monsters.
Roblox is based on what the creator of the game wants it to be.
Community- Minecraft has multiple websites where creations are shared and most of them areoriginalcreations.(Creations, not designs) Lots of different people and different stylesof creations.
Roblox has a lot of unoriginal maps (Ex: Call of Robloxia, Survival Disaster, BaseWars)and there are a LOT of kids just saying "noob," "yolo," and "swag." Lots ofpeople that tryto date others based on there character too.

Great for creating games but has a bunch of children and you can end upspendinga lotof money editing your character and buying special privileges.

To anyone reading this later than August 2018, this was posted in 2013 when I was a kid and very biased towards Minecraft. What's written on this is my experience with Roblox and Minecraft and was not researched in any sort of the matter. My experience with these games back in 2013 may no longer be valid and I'm not taking the time to go back and check which of these statements are right or wrong. I no longer play either of these games and I'm not active on this site. However, I won't take down the post since... well... I don't have a reason, I just want the diamonds. Don't take the post seriously, it's just a rant from a dumb kid.

This was about my experience with Roblox back in 2013. It's biased and I know that. If you're going to comment, add to the discussion instead of posting a long rant about me ragging on your favorite game.
Also, there's a lot of statements in your 5 paragraph essay that I didn't even mention in my post. If you're going to correct me on something read the post first and stay on topic. Insulting others is a terrible way to represent you and your community. It's also not a good way to make people think about your statements. If you want to write another comment in 2023 I'd be happy to read your opinions then.

People complaining about losing connection. Get rid of your crappy McDonalds Wifi. You think it happens to everyone? Also complaining about the constant Exploiters. That's completely a lie, they aren't "everywhere" you rarely see them. And if you do, Each Roblox game has tons of servers (Don't mix it up with Minecraft Servers) So just join another one you immature sensitive ****. And about Roblox being filled with people saying "I'll reportz u cuz u killz me". Have you ever heard of the word 'Ignore'? Because if that actually gets to you well then you are a gullible person. I mean it's not even common.
Just ignore them and move on Jesus Christ. In fact I'd rather laugh at that. "mostly unoriginal maps" Dude, that's like 1/1000 of Roblox games, those are just some games that people put hard work into recreating. The fact that you said it like a bad thing, first of all if you don't like unoriginal maps, don't play it. Second of all, being able to recreate a whole other game with some differences just tells you how much you can make in Roblox. Did you know Robox Studio is advanced enough to actually recreate basic Minecraft. If someone put enough work and effort into it they could basically make an Minecraft game. You said you could end up spending a lot of money on editing your avatar and buying special privileges.
Those are extra things dude. Roblox is free. Minecraft is about $25. You could buy it if you wanted to, that's up to you, There's so much more than editing your avatar. The best thing about Roblox in my opinion is either the accurate Physics or the Money Making. Roblox has very advanced physics, everything has a specific weight and even density. You can make things accurately float on water. You can make them sink by standing on them with your avatar by putting your weight on it. You can move blocks by walking into them if their weight is smaller than yours. Yes, you can actually make a profit on Roblox. Let's say you make a popular game that everyone plays now and people buy items from your game. You earn 'Robux' the in-game Roblox currency.
If you earn about 240K Robux you can cash it out for about $200 real dollars. It goes up. To even $1 Million if you make enough Robux. Therefore, I believe Roblox offers way more than Minecraft to one's entertainment.
