The villagers in Minecraft are an important role in surviving. If you stumble across one of these peaceful villages, you can trade and earn items. The only problem is, the villagers have no defense except Iron golems, which only spawn in a larger sized village. What I think would be suitable for a modification would be different classes of villagers. There already is butcher, farmer, priest, etc., but what if there were warriors. There could be archers, close range fighters and guards to fight away marauding zombies in the night. They could also trade named items, and special enchanted armour. The villages could have walls, with special archery towers, and even a gate leading inside. Lesser villages wouldn't have a wall, but only guards to protect them. This is only a thought though, for I do not have any mod formatting toward this subject. Please consider this thought and thanks for reading my article.
