This is a tutorial on how to get to a good start in Minecraft. Scroll down to peek...
Step 1. So first, you need to go punch some trees. Get at least 5 logs. Put the logs in the crafting section in your inventory and make as many wood planks you can.
Step 2. Then take 4 wood planks, and put 1 in each of the four slots in your crafting inventory which makes a crafting table/bench. Take the crafting table. Get about 10 more logs.
Step 3. When you get the 10 or more logs, do the same thing as step 1. Make as many wood planks as you can. When your done, make a fairly big house. About 10x10 or so blocks long and wide. Make it about 4 block high, giving you breathing room. Then put your crafting table down wherever you like.
Step 4. Now it's time to gather materials. First, go get more logs or wood planks, if you need any, and make a wooden pickaxe. To make a wooden pickaxe you need sticks. You make sticks by putting 1 wood plank on top of another wood plank, and you make a pickaxe by putting 1 stick on top of another and 3 wood planks at the top.
Step 5. Get more wood planks, if you need more, get at least 3 wood planks and get 3 wool. Go to your crafting table and make a bed by lining up 3 wool next to each other horizontally and 3 wooden planks under them. The bed will turn night into day in Minecraft by sleeping. Then get your pickaxe and mine some stone. Make a stone pickaxe, and you should be on your way, ready to take on the challenges of Minecraft!
