this is one scene from my latest story "Mission Zero" where the UDT members leave parrot to fight for himself after the war over the artificial zero point. This is because some evil force has been making parrot act in strange ways (he vaporized an entire habited planet and laughed whilst doing so) but in the proses someone stopped it and the machine he was using fell into the real zero point causing it to start vaporizing everything. Anyways it was now just Parrot vs. the guys who were holding the Zero Point (like 7 very powerful ppl) Parrot fled.

In this specific scene carl is trying to rescue the guys inside the rocked because if they leave the magnetic field all the electronics will be fried even thought the Zero point is several hundred lightyears away.
