Hello all, my name is Vexx and today I am going to talk to you about a series of supernatural creatures and even sightings of them! (if there are any) Please keep in mind that I have worked long and hard to bring this blog to you. Enjoy! 

Lycanthrope 

A Lycanthrope, also know to the modern as the Werewolf, is a human shape-shifter who can transform themselves into a wolf. Some are even considered to be Therianthropic Hybrid’s which is a wolf-like creature. 

Some scholars suggest that lycanthropy (the transformation of turning into the wolf) is a curse, a divine punishment. One can become a werewolf by a simple scratch or a bite from a werewolf (Don’t get any bright ideas, it sounds painful) and the change begins from there. 

There has been rumors of Remedies to cure someone from being a werewolf. Three of these are: Wolfsbane, surgically, or by exorcism. 

The legend about how to kill a werewolf has changed greatly over the years. For instance, today it is considered that a silver weapon, or a bullet, can kill the wolf. But in the 18th century it was said that the werewolf was immortal. Doomed to carry out its curse for eternity. But if you ask me, its not a curse in every way. 

There have been numerous werewolf sightings at Cannock Chase (located in Central England) near Staffordshire. Over the past 30 years more than 21 werewolf sightings have been reported with the most recent one this year! The reports claim that witnesses sight what appears to be a large dog, however when they get closer, it becomes apparent it is not a dog, as the creature pulls itself upright, and runs into the forest on its two hind legs. 

Many people have found dead bodies of all around the world with what appears to be large bite marks and deep puncture wounds. Some have even had their heart bit out and neck torn. Its not really something to be afraid of as only 14 reports of this has happened in the past 100 years.
