So lately I had been playing some minigames and I thought that something was unfair, ranks. When you first play a minigame you want to learn it right? Well there's always someone trying to kill you at spawn. You can't kill him because the rank gives powerful armour. So your screwed. You try to run by him but he's basicly god and you don't want to open your wallet just to kill a guy on a video game. After awhile you leave... and never come back to that server. 

    I think that personnaly I do not like servers with ranks (and there are a lot of them!) because there is always that one guy who kills you over and over and over again. I mainly find this on big servers like Mineplex, Hypixel's Server and The Hive. I don't play on those anymore. Ranks also makes servers lose players actualy. Here let me explain. So if you get killed by a higher rank over and over again on a bunch of minigames or even survival you want to leave the server. When you come back a week later no changes, there's always that one person who is there to kill you at spawn with a higher rank. So then you leave and never come back. The people with ranks get bored because there is no lower ranks to kill in whatever minigame your playing. So that's how people  will leave big servers.

Also it's against the law to do it (Soon the EULA will be updated). The owner of the server's Minecraft account might be banished from the game. That is not good for either the admins, players or donors. This needs to stop. They can make money off of ads NOT ranks. I am starting to get bothered by this because no one can play on servers anymore (at least most of them).

                                                                1. Make money off of your Youtube videos (18+)
 
                                                                 2. Set up a donation area for the server (no ranks, no privilages to those who donate)
                                                             
                                                                 3. Make money off of ads (in-game chat or a website)
   
                                                                 4. Become partnered with your hosting service (If you bought your server)
 
                                                                 5. Make some change off of friends.
