Hello Ladies and Gentleblocks and welcome to yet another thoughtful blog. Today I'm going to be writing about the importance and benefits of staying calm and relaxed. A lot of people, especially students and high-stress employees, experience stress and discomfort due to work, exams, etc... Staying relaxed in certain ways can majorly improve both your mental wellbeing as well as your workflow.
As I approach the GCSE season, both my parents and teachers are putting increasing amounts of stress and pressure on me (as well as other students) so that we can succeed and go on to become rich successful business men that will make the school look good. A lot of my schoolmates begin to furiously revise, make flash cards and panic as soon as the word GCSE is mentioned. For those of you in foreign lands who don't know what GCSEs are, they are essentially the second largest exam you take in 'high school' in England other than A-Levels.
My approach is completely different. My parents find it weird, my teachers find it worrying and my friends find it funny. My way of dealing with upcoming exams, revision, etc is to just simply relax. I don't worry about them, I just take a slow and steady walk through the park that is the human mind and surprisingly it works. I've found myself learning more, understanding more and seeing a lot more too.
Obviously there is a limit though to relaxation and that limit is called being lazy. I'm not just sitting at a computer, writing blogs all day. Well... I am... But I'm also doing small but effective amounts of revision. The fact that I'm relaxed and taking things easy means that my mind is also at rest and I'm not suffering from excessive stress. This results in a more positive and engaging attitude to my everyday life and also means that the quality of my workflow has also increased.
The key however, is to not get too relaxed. If you can find the right balance then you are set for a relaxing journey through high school. One exception however dwells upon my schizophrenic mind however, which is that not everyone's minds work like mine.
I do also understand that a lot of people have generally stressful jobs with deadlines, etc and then maybe, a solution for them could be to dedicate time every week to just 'chilling out' and doing something that you enjoy doing. Me? I like to just sit down and play Minecraft. I enjoy figuring things out and trying out new contraptions. In doing so I find myself having optimal productivity while enjoying myself at the same time.
Relaxing really is quintessential to having a healthy and balanced mind that can help you through exams, tasks and jobs. Just taking a break from your daily routine really can help you massively. I hope you've enjoyed today's blog and I look forward to writing the next one.
I didn't want to make an entire blog just for this but I wanted to keep all of you up to date. A lot of you may have noticed that I'm now a Site Moderator which takes up more time than people think so I have less time to work on projects as well as blogs.
I've also got a lot of long-term projects I'm helping others on, primarily with Xenocides with an upcoming song parody and PvP map. In other news I also hit 1,000 YouTube subscribers and I'm on the verge of hitting 700 PMC subscribers which is incredible! Thanks to all who have supported me.

When I have a test coming up everybody just panics, and I just go home and launch up Starcraft 2. Don't worry Boo, there's plenty of time to study.
