Sacrifice - A Short Minecraft Narrative (Set In A Creepers POV)
The sounds of footsteps fell from the echo's of the dark dimmed caves, slowly brightened by the players torch. I attempt to tuck myself behind a small mount of rocks, sitting beside the steam of lava which fell from hell itself. The sounds of feet clamping amongst the stone caused the bumps on my cactus green skin grow. Eerie sounds repeated of a pickaxe entering stone fills my ears, and the sounds of items being collect into ones inventory. I shuffle myself over, making sure that this one of a kind creature doesn't recognise me. My anxiety and fear causes me to shiver, excelling a small "hiss" out of me."What was that?" Exclaimed the creature.
Before I could even think, my body started ticking, my body flashing faster then light could possibly travel. This was it. Why was I coded like this? The ticks continued, as I exposed myself in front of the creature. The creature was holding a diamond pickaxe, along with a torch in his right hand. His pants hung down to his shoes, with the texture of fine, blue denim. He was also wearing a light blue t-shirt, with nothing on it. Just a plain, blue shirt.
I wanted to be friends with this creature, but it turns out my race just doesn't have the good enough of the reputation. The player ran towards me, equipping his shiny, diamond sword from his inventory. Tears roll down my cheek as the ticks and flashes on my body continue. I could feel my body reaching its final point, the point where my final flash of light proceeds through my body. All I wanted is to be loved, and to have a friend. It turns out I just cant have it that way. The last, flash of sorrow takes over my body, before my body explodes into shards.
