Today I have for you spotlights in vanilla Minecraft.

A while back sky posted a video about a server for Monstercat's music,

I saw that in the custom mod for the server there are spotlights/moving lights

I'm not exactly sure what to call them, all I know is I made them without mods.

Tutorial:

Type this for the origin of the spotlight:

/summon EnderCrystal

Type this for where you want the spotlight to point:

/summon EnderDragon ~ ~ ~ {CustomName:"Spotlight",Riding:{id:MinecartRideable}}

To make the spotlight move where it is pointing, type the previous command on a mine cart track.

Remember to try this out in a test world first as it takes experience to get this to work well.
