Since I can write about anything, here are my top AC games (I'm not counting the portables).This is my opinion, so don't take offense.
6. Assassin's Creed-2007
The first entry in the series, is the weakest in many ways. The scope and gameplay were good, but the level structure was literally the same thing over and over again. 1st climb some towers. 2nd Do these same small missions. 3rd Kill some dude. Imagine doing that 9 times... ugh. Did I mention how Altiar has no personality?
5. Assassin's Creed Revelations-2011
This game seemed to good to be true, with the 2 fan favorites in the same game. But it turns out you actually only play the 2nd one in these 5 small missions. Anyways, this game suffers from a messy city and boring story. you don't feel attached to anything in the game, meanwhile the only positive to this game are the hookblade, bombs, and Ezio being Ezio.
4. Assassin's Creed 3-2012
I liked this game, alot. Yet, it took me a while to like it in the first place. you spend the first 3 hours in a tutorial. Yes, a damn good tutorial, but it's still a tutorial. When you finally get out into the thick of the game, you really see how much stuff there is to do, and also how great the ship combat is. Connor is literally a force of pure justice, which can get a little preachy at times.Speaking of ships...
3. Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag-2013
This game is by far the greatest pirate game ever made. Notice how I didn't say assassin. Yeah, you are a pirate, but you just stole some assassin's clothes. The story is kind of bland, but it is forgettable with the huge world, fun gameplay, and interesting first-person mode. And Edward is pretty much a sleezy Brad Pitt from Whales.
2.Assassin's Creed 2-2009
Known as the "best AC game" it's up here for 2 reasons: Ezio Auditore and for building the foundation for the next game. It has great visuals, a huge map, and tons of weapons and customization items. Ezio alone is a great character indeed, using charm, wit, and his large array if Italion swear words to beat the Templars. The only negative is how you are not really inspired to explore the larger country-side areas.
1. Assassin's Creed Brotherhood- 2010
I can't find anythnig wrong with this game. It expanded on the econmoy of 2, started the great multiplayer, and even made 1 city seem like 3. Ezio is at his best here, creating his own brotherhood from the ground up, in a really calm and interesting story that doesn't have to explain why you killed these guys. They are generally bad people, and you are only helping others in the process. Every mission and side mission are made to please and they graphics are still holding up to today's standards. All in all, this represents what people like in this series: history, mystery, action, and adventure.
