I was applying for yet ANOTHER server yesterday, and found my self stopping half way through my application, and x'd out of the page. This is because the server I was applying for was one of those big-time servers, you know, multiworld, 40 something people on at one time. Now, a lot of people like these kinds of servers, but I find myself hating them. Sure the stuff built on there is amazing, but those servers lack community, there really isn't anyone that you can become good friends with, because of the chat being so spammy and all of that. I think, that the best kind of server is the kind where you know everyone, and you can create great things, and be part of a community. These "small" servers aren't very small in fun, and they're the best place to start off if you're new to Minecraft. I enjoy these servers because you make friends on them that you can do anything with. Minecraft is a giant world, and when you have friends in it, it makes it just much more enjoyable.
