Hello again! This is chapter 3 of The Eight Tribes, so be sure to read the two chapters before this one! Dont forget to comment, vote, and diamond! Here is chapter 3!

Steve awoke again in sunlight. He slowly got up and saw some burning corpeses around him. What happened? Steve thought to himself. The it all came rushing back into his mind. The soldier! Where did he go! He must have reinforcements. I have to leave quickly before I end up dead like these fellows! Steve thought quickly.

After awhile of walking, Steve could see a huge mountain. I can probobly climb that, and see my surroundings up there! Steve decided. So after about a couple hours, Steve finished the treacherous climb.He gazed around and descovered he was on an island. The mountain he was standing on was in the very middle of the island.

Out in the distance, he could make out the outlines of seven villages. they were all scattered along the rim of the island below him at the base of the mountain, lay what appeared to be the ruins of a town.

All the sudden, the sound of Notches voice spoke to him. "Now you know your land, but you still dont know your quest."

"Then tell me my purpose!" Steve pleaded. "I need to know how I know how to fight so well!"

"I can not reveal your purpose, but I can tell you this. You will need to join with one of the eight tribes and fight for them. As for yor fighting abilitys, I have given you a gift. Over time that gift will flourish and strengthen." Notch explained.

"Which of the tribes should I join?" Steve inquired.

"That is for you and you alone to decide." Notcch siad."Now other business awaits me. Goodbye Steve"

The presence of Notch left Steve. He looked around and found out It was nightime. He ate another porkchop, then headed towards the nearest town.

On the way to the town, Steve was assaulted by swarms of the undead. Steve let the power of Notch completely envelop him. Soon, steve was standing alone with swarms of undead cut to peices around him. He slowly shook himself back to reality, and headed towards the town.

When he reached it, he saw a sign with the words 'Welcome to Wintervale'.
