Facebook, in my experience, is sometimes a great way to waste a cold evening: chatting to friends, uploading pictures, and consuming large amounts of snacks. However, this is not without its downsides. Many people try to climb the facebook heirarchy in order to become more popular. The most common way for girls to do this is, sadly, by posting revealing pictures of themselves. I have seen so many girls do this, and every single one I no longer have any respect for. Girls as young as 12 do this even. I saw one picture of this nature with over 50 likes, a least 75% of these were from boys. I truly pity anyone who has to do this simply to get attention. Another way of people becoming popular is to post a status saying "Like my status if you like _____" then of course, 5 people like it, not realising they have been tricked. I hope this provides some insight into the social laws implemented into facebook, and that anyone who reads this learns something.
