(Apologies to those who have been waiting for me to write this lol, sorry fell into a writers block on this story, but here's a little something that I got crammed out of my mind xD)



“Back off Jake.” A masculine voice comes from up ahead.





Startled at the sudden interruption Landon glances up to see a guy standing between him and Jake. He appeared to be quite muscular guy, He had lean
shoulders, pretty tall or at least a few inches taller then Landon with a small red base ball cap resting on the top of his curly brown hair a few clumps escaping out the sides.



Conner shifts his weight to the side his brown eyes pushing the point to Jake. But, though his lips are pursed he seemed to be fighting a smile, little bits of his perfect white teeth edging their way through.


“I was just fun with him, Conner. Really I wasn’t actually meaning to hurt a little wimp like him.” Jake rolls his eyes at the guy, but that doesn’t show the look of fear clearly showing on his rough sun tanned face.


Conner’s brow shoots up with an unbelieving look in bedded on his face.






“Is that right? Well, if you have ‘fun’ with him again, I may have a little ‘fun with you.” Conner folds his arms in front of him.“And remember I have head with the principal, I’m sure he wouldn’t mind talking with you again--”



Jake’s mouth forms an o in shock, he glances from Conner to Landon then back again lifting his gaze on Conner.


“You wouldn’t dare.”





Conner’s brows harden as if pushing the point. “How would you know?”


“Your all talk no action, that’s how.”


“And why am I standing between you right now? All talk, huh?”


“Your using my words against me.” Jake’s face turns red, frustrated he lands his fist, just missing Conner who merely takes a step to the side.


Jake’s eyes widen more in surprise. “You-” He swears and slowly takes a few steps backwards.


“Leave this guy alone, that’s all that is asked of you, if you don’t you may have to meet my fist.”


Jake eyes Conner’s fist, as if seeing how much bigger they are then his own he backs off, lowering his eyes he replies. “Alright—but--but stay away from me then.”


“You’ll never touch him again?” Conner goes on, pushing the subject like a lion stalking its prey.


“Yes, sir.” Jake nods.



“Then carry on, I expect you to never come near this guy again. Do you hear me?”


As if frightened terribly Jake nods precisely. “Yessir, yessir-yessir”



“Carry on.” Conner puts out his hand, motioning for Jake to go.


Jake backs up a bit as if puzzled that he had been let go without a fight, then he turns and walks away, his partners following quickly behind clearing not
wanting to have a chat with Conner.


Landon let’s out a deep sigh of relief at their exit. Conner sure came at such a great timing! Landon looks back up at his rescuer and offers him a shy smile.


Conner for the second time glances down at Landon, nods his red ball cap and flashes him a smile, with that he strides back on his course to the school.


Landon just stands there in stunned silence for a moment, amazed how quick danger had come and then the next second had gone. Maybe this school wouldn’t be as bad as he had expected?
