" Time for school Honey! " Mum yells from the kitchen.
" Coming Mum, " I mumble from my bedroom.
" Have you finished your science project? " She yells.
Oh no, the science project! I completely forgot about it! If I don't atleast get a B on it, I fail. Which means summer school.
" Mum, I don't feel so great, " I lie.
" Whats wrong? " She asks.
"It's my stomach, it's in alot of pain, " I reply.
" Ok, well you can stay home but i'll be gone all day ok? " She says.
" That's fine, " I say.
I start on my project. The effect of weight on falling speed.
2 hours past. I hear a sound, it sounds liike an explosion. I look outside my window.
"The street! " I scream.
Infront of me lies the remains of our road. I hear screaming. People screaming. I rush outside only to be greeted by soldiers. They grap me by the arm and throw me into a van. Out of one of the windows I realize that it's not only our street but the whole city. Dead people lie on the ground. Children screaming for their mums. Only to realize they are dead.
I get out of the van, the soldiers lead me to some sort of chamber. About 20 people are lined up against a wall. I see someone familiar. It's Mum! I don't have enough time to do anything before I hear a lod " bang! ". She falls to the ground, dead.
" You Bas.." One of the guards graps my mouth and shoves me into a wall.
" Who do you think you are? Killing inocent people like that! " The guard mumbles something to another guard and before I know it there is a gun pointed at my head. "No!" I manage to squeeze out before the world goes dark.
I wake up, in my bed.
" Time for school Honey! "
I run downstairs. Mum is in the kitchen. I run up to her and hug her.
"Your alright!" I yell out.
"Yes, I am" She says with a wierd look on her face.
" But the soldiers, the guns and you! " I say.
" I think you need to see the doctor, stay home today and i'll ring the doctor later. She says, she looks worried.
" Whatever you say, whatever you say, " I say with a happy look on my face.
I don't know how it happened or why it happened. I just know that it didn't happen. It was the war the never happened.
