Does it matter?
i mean, accents and pronunciations evolve with time and then others say its wrong but it depends the accent. An example of evolving accents:
The American accent is actually a fossilized British accent, as we got it from the colonists way back when the British accent was similar to what the American accent is today, and the British accent continued rapid change, and the American accent had a slow change in a different direction, and the two accents continue to evolve separately today.
another thing, is that due to accents, “Mario” an Italian based name, is sort of in-between the British accent “æ” and the American accent “a” which is why they pronounce it differently, we both have one part of the Italian “ä” and so you may ask “well which one is correct?” Well, they’re both correct yet they’re both wrong at the same time.
