Hello! Just to say I know....IT'S BEEN FOREVER SINCE MY LAST ULTRABLOG! BUT I finally got the idea... ^^ Everyone, .....GO "HURRAY!" and dance in front of the computer screen RIGHT NOW because 1) this is the first ULTRAblog of the year 2) I haven't done it in forever and 3) I'm sure you all miss dem ULTRAblogs... ^^





Abusing the Little Flag - Flagging something for no good reason; the thing that drives people NUTS



I'm sure a LOT of people has seen it. I sure have, it's been on something of mine, and I was ticked because I didn't see anything abusive or innapropriate or unoriginal or anything of the such. This got me thinking, "What did I do? What did I do wrong? I didn't mean to do anything wrong, I would remove it if I did something wrong, but I don't see anything wrong...." So then I kept on moving. A few weeks later, I saw something AMAZING and yet it was flagged. "What did this person do wrong?" I thought. There was nothing wrong with it. Nothing abusive or innapopriate or unoriginal. The user didn't abuse the update log. It was completely innocent. Then I kept on moving. a week later, I saw a different thing and sure enough, it was flagged. AND it had nothing wrong with it.

So I'm sure many people have seen these things. And what exactly is the point? I don't know that sadly. Maybe people find it fun to click the little red flag then put "RAOPGFGIFAGPFKFPGSJ" in the description to fill it. Maybe it's just a regional offense somehow. I really don't know, though.





"My submission was deleted BUT I didn't do anything wrong!"



It's very likely that something happened or was mistakened for something if it was reported AND deleted. Some people don't realize it. OR they just don't understand a skin (per say) so they think that a part of it is innapropriate. (It CAN happen. It's not impossible.) Or maybe posting Minecraft art. Let's say...2 girls together. They's say they're playing with eachother in a certain way that it looks wrong or inappropriate. It COULD get flagged. Or maybe a submission was really just unoriginal. The reason differs.

How getting your submissions flagged and deleted can be avoided:

1) Reading AND following the rules

2) Try to be careful on how do make things. (In otherwords, try not to make them look in any way inappropriate.)



Another good way to avoid getting your submissions flagged and deleted is by thinking of good thoughts--not bad, innapropriate or evil thoughts. Whether you read the Bible or not, here's a verse that may help:



8 Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirableo if anything is excellent or praiseworthyo think about such things. 9 Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in meo put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.
