Heres the problem, when people think of Minecraft Dungeons bosses, they think of Archie, or the Redstone Monstrosity first, oddly enough, though, many bosses are quite good, but never talked about, im.
the Redstone Monstrosity is a problem here, it appears once and is still the one everyone thinks of it first, its in ONE mission, and never shown again, except in promotional material, thats not a huge problem, but i think that some other bosses deserve at least some love, the corrupted cauldron is one of the best bosses, summoning slimes, and being the first boss the hero fights, but no one speaks of it. its really a tough fight, and killed me twice on my first attempt (id also died to an enderman before the boss fight, so i was really close to death) and on my second attempt (when i needed a rune) i was killed again. another boss thats really REALLY fun to fight is the Illusionist, he is EPIC and i mean it. i love the Evoker music, and though i think the Illusionist deserved his own music, its still something ill accept. i love the idea of him, and i like that the clones do have their own AI (theres is a datapack made by Dandutritium that gives them better AI Illusionary Misdirection Minecraft Data Pack (planetminecraft.com)) that instead of being blatantly fake, like in the base game (few actually know it, but the Illusioner goes invisible and stays in the middle of the 4 copies). another underrated boss (or miniboss) is the ghast, its music is on point, and ive ALMOST died to it, while fighting a skeleton horseman simultaneously (maybe its unfair to say it almsot killed me, due to something else already having wounded me), but even so, the music is EPIC! its my 2nd favourite, other than the Evoker chant. i also am very fond of the Arch-Illager boss fight, its short, but he can summon other pillagers and sometimes even an RS golem, so i like that, though hes still low on my list of favourites. one i dont like that is never talked about, is the skeleton horseman, his music is just a fair use Halloween song, thats done via electric guitar, and he is so easy to kill, id even say he is OVERRATED.

The roles could be things like Illager Army Soldier, Undead, Enderling, Nameless One (third highest rank), and Arch-Illager (second highest rank), and Heart of Ender (highest rank)
