Hey guys! Today I'm going to talk about a little thing that has always annoyed me in Minecraft - version hopping.
Version hopping is when you go into a Minecraft world in a version, then going into that world in an older version - well, that's what I call it. This can affect your world a lot or a little. It's weird how it works. Sometimes it will do a few things, sometimes it will wipe out the entire world.
This is incredibly annoying, painful, saddening and infuriating, as this can destroy your world that you worked so hard on. I still don't understand why Minecraft can't have a warning like: You have played in this world on a newer version. Do you want to continue?
This has happened to me a few times. Often times, you forget what version you're on. Most of the time, this happens because I was on a server that required an older version. Then, I think, "Let's go play on a singleplayer world!" And you know what happens next.
This just happened to me. That's why I decided to talk about it. This time it wasn't too devastating. Every single sign had random quotation marks and occasional random numbers/letters. Also, all the chests were emptied. 1.8 items disappeared, as epected. All item frames dropped to the ground as well. I haven't found anything else yet. I'm probably going to have to give up on it, because it was an entire empire with signs everywhere.
I just really hope that Minecraft will have this feature soon. If you agree or liked this, please diamond. Thanks for reading! Have a great day.
