Warum?

Why is always a suitable question I guess. Why do I even try to compete with Americans who make far better skins than I could right now. That's a very good question with a very boring answer. To make a short story long, it started while I was playing Minecraft. They usual hardcore mode antics of running around, trying to find food and shelter. You get so hungry, so quick in hardcore. Or at least it seems that way. Unfortunately for me, I was spawned on a very small island with no trees, had to swim to a slightly large island with two trees, wait for night and kill a spider, than finally make a fishing rod to catch a fish that saved me from last minute starving to death. (Got to love run on sentences.)



I was very proud. So many of these moments can be found in Minecraft, where you are proud of what you did. Like simply building a cool house, or when you start decorating your house to look nice instead of just looking for a place to survive. Also, I think it's something to be proud of when you built a cool building in Hardcore survival rather than just creative. The game is relaxing and fun that way. Also, why is Minecraft the perfect game to play while... not sober. Drunk, or high, this game is perfect. Not to say I don't enjoy this game sober, but while smoking a nicely rolled blunt, even things like farming and herding pigs is fun! Such a simple game, such fantastic pleasures. I ramble. One day, I decided to go mining in a ravine I found. Killing zombies and skeletons and slimes, hearing the creepy dungeon music as I mined coal. It was great! Until I found diamond. Usually this would be awesome but shortly after collecting it, I was soon blown to smithereens by three silent but deadly creepers. Hardcore mode is a ticking time bomb. So I decided to skin. That is why. That's all this blog was, to tell you why I decided to skin. To increase the replay value of an already great game by playing with my own creations. I intend to get good at skinning "Steve" and other characters so eventually I can create my own texture pack! Who knows what I'll get into, this whole Planet Minecraft thing is strangely addicting.
