Many of us have joined the monthly skin contests PlanetMinecraft hosts. That's great! It's always good to exercise your skinning abilities. What this rant is about is the monthly "Participant" logos you get. Have you ever noticed that 4 out of the 5 of them (above) have their tongues sticking out?

It's as if they are trying to tell us something. Do we suck? Should we quit trying? Well, simple-minded question asker, I gather this is just a symbol of "Good job" or "Nice try". So don't quit entering the skin contest. Maybe someday you might actually win. The tongue sticking out is actually quite amusing if you think about it.
