Hey guys, AnimeFanFTW here with a sort of a rant, and this rant is about the lack of originality in recent submissions in PMC.
(Any hateful comments will be deleted, k?)
Now when I look at the Skins section and the Blogs section in PMC, I see interesting, funny and original content. But then I see lots of content that make me cringe.
Seeing yet another Gamer Hoodie skin, another Panda Girl, another Bacca skin, yet another Mob Interview (those make me soooooo angry) and yadda yadda, you get the idea. I see this nearly all the time and it kinda gets on my nerves.
All I ask to those people that make these types of things is this:
Where's the originality?
What is the point of yet another Gamer Hoodie skin? There are 1000's of those skins avaliable on PMC, we don't need another one.
Why bother making a Mob Interview? They are not funny, nor interesting, and the point of an interview is to get to know the interviewer better.
Why make another Ninja skin? They take little effort to make and it has already been done before.
Instead of just making skins and blogs that have already been done before and with little effort, plan and take time making your content. Think up new ideas and experiment. Make something that hasn't been made hundreds of thousands of times.
I might not be the perfect example of this, but I try my best to think up new ideas, new skins and new blogs.
I just wanted to say this so that people could make new and interesting content, instead of stuff I have seen too many times.
