It happened with me too good thing I got a pic fast!

Because it is so easy to get a profile pic people assume they cant do anything. Sucks but is somewhat true.

Well people think that because they think that people are too lazy to change it though I have a problem ,I changed my Profile Picture to Gandalf with derpy eyes and I still don't have it :( so it takes time for the profile picture to update so if they don't have the picture now they may have it soon . sry for being too long

OMG! I have seen some of those people you so call "noobs" rock the house with some of the best skins ever! What I call a noob is someone with poor effort,a diva at Level 1 who thinks she/he is the best of all PMC, and with a bad attitude

No picture = low level.

People who are the most active, and are making the most high-quality posts, are generally the ones taking the time to set a decent profile picture/setup their profile in general.

First things first, make this blog a bit smaller and less caps. Also, do a spelling check before posting. Besides that, this is an interesting topic.

You know when you walk down a street and you see someone covered with tattoos wearing sagging jeans, gold chains and a tank top (just an example), you immediately assume they are like a gangster or undereducated. Just like with a profile picture; It's how you display yourself. Basically, without a profile picture, you have to assume the worst. You at least assume they don't know how to change it, which makes you assume they are, as you stated a "noob".

Because when you see no profile picture you think that the person is either inactive or only posts on the forums. When you see an actual picture, people know that this person actually generates content.
