I felt like modding "Minecraft" and I don't think that "Forge" is the way to go.
What the "Forge Documentation" says to create an item is to "by instantiating the Item class with an Item$Properties object. This Item$Properties object can be made via the constructor and customized by calling its methods".
You think this is too difficult to understand and wait for an update by Mojang to release a new feature that allows me to create my own items and do data-packs instead, or should I at least, try.
Also, I was hoping to mod 1.6.2.
