This datapack emulates 1.8 combat by removing attack cooldowns and decreasing axes damage to their 1.8 values.

EXTRACT THE DATAPACK otherwise it will not function

Changes:
  • Clickable commands are now pasted into the chat box instead of ran (incase the user wants to copy the command for later)
  • The datapack now has to be extracted before use (since i can't upload the datapack without its name being changed)
  • Minor: Text is now indented for to be more distinguishable
Minor Bug fixes:
  • Fixed the /function 1.8combat:disable not working
  • Fixed the clickable twitter link sending you to witter.com
  • Reorganized functions to highlight the disable command

where do I need to put the datapack ? I've extracted it to the resource pack folder and nothing appeared. I've also tried F3 + T (reload all resource packs) and nothing. Bro help me I'm tired of the 1.9 update for combat. Your pack is the only one that should work on 1.16

Do you know where the .minecraft folder is? There should be a "saves" folder in it and there should be the world folder you want to use the datapack in. In that world folder there's a "datapacks" folder in that. Drag the file you downloaded there. If you don't know where the .minecraft folder is you can google it because it's hard to explain.

is it possible to set the damage of sweeping to 0 instead of removing it?
