This datapack I've been working on for a few weeks adds a new redstone component into the game which enables you to remotely activate redstone using a handheld remote. It in theory should work on multiplayer, but I haven't tested it quite yet.

    Crafting
You can create a receiver by throwing 3 iron blocks, an observer, and a comparator on the ground. ("floor crafting" inspired by BlueCommander) Throw 3 iron ingots, a stone button, and a comparator on the ground to create a remote.

    Placing and Breaking
Right-click with the receiver wherever you want to place it just like a normal block and mine it with an axe just like a normal block. (placing mechanics and concepts inspired by Stevertus)

    GUI
Right click on the receiver to open the GUI (menu). You can adjust the frequency of the receiver by clicking on the increase and decrease buttons. Put a remote inside the remote slot in order to set the remote's frequency to the same frequency as the receiver. The receiver GUI also has online and offline buttons. When the receiver is offline, it is unable to be activated even when a remote on the same frequency is clicked.

    Remote
Right-clicking a remote will activate all online receivers on the same frequency as the remote.

If you found this explanation confusing, view either the official video guide or some same gameplay of the datapack, which can both be found below in the order they were listed.

The download link takes you to a MediaFire folder. Make sure you install both the datapack AND the resource pack for it to properly work.

    Update #1: More Channels + Transmitters! : by SlimmerTub37 12/20/2019 9:11:36 pmDec 20th, 2019

This new update includes 999 new channels from the previous 64. It also includes redstone transmitters. These broadcast a signal to all receivers on the same channel. You can also now adjust the channel of a remote by holding it in your offhand and entering the chat to click on tellraw. I also fixed a couple bugs and errors. This update is pretty simple to figure out, but there are a few bugs I may have missed. I recently stopped programming Minecraft in favor of programming Java, and I'm too lazy to edit a tutorial video but I recorded this footage for it a couple months ago and it should lay things out pretty easily for you all. This is probably the final update, but maybe I'll come back and update it sometime if I'm bored. I have seriously enjoyed the positive feedback on this project. Feel free to modify it yourself if you find an error in it. Merry Christmas!

Wow! This is so cool! The only problem i have is when i spam it and it gets stuck. Can you do something about that? Also how do you craft the new transmitter?

Yeah when I made this I tried my hardest to fix this issue, but it seemed like the only way I could fix it was with the system I implemented.

There is a cheaty-ish way to do NBT crafting actually.

I've seen this method, but I'd prefer to wait until they officially add it to keep it cleaner. I wouldn't want people less technically inclined to be confused if they enter creative mode. Thanks for the suggestion though!

Awesome pack! If anyone cares, I translated the pack to german by changing all of the "text" NBT tags to "translate" so the client would translate it according to the resource pack, so if the language selected in Minecraft is german (Deutsch), the text should be translated. I fixed the english spelling errors too.

Thanks! I've already developed an update (with new features) I plan to release once I get my Adobe Premiere fixed and before I release it I'll add in the translate features you've featured in this.
