A sequel to my other data pack "The Sorcery Pack", meant to be better, more balanced, and less laggy! Use wands for basic magic, or learn spellcasting using staves for more complex and diverse spells!
The data pack is currently quite incomplete, so expect balance issues, lack of content, and bugs. If you find any balance issues or bugs, please PM me or comment on this page.

Currently there are two kinds of wands - the normal wand and the fire wand.
The normal wand is crafted with a netherite ingot as the handle and a single stick as the shaft on a regular crafting table.
The fire wand is crafted with a netherite ingot as the handle and a blaze rod as the shaft.
There are two staves - the Staff of the Forest and the Staff of Combat.
To craft the staff of the forest, place an amethyst shard, an oak sapling, and a stick from top to bottom in the crafting grid.
To craft the staff ofcombat, place an amethyst shard, a gold ingot, and an iron ingot from top to bottom in the crafting grid.
Spells are displayed in the spellcasting tab in the advancements menu, in front of the staff used to cast them. Spells will be unlocked as you play through the world (it takes quite long to unlock them). To unlock them by cheats, simply grant yourself the advancements in the spellcasting menu.
To select a spell, use a staff while crouching. After this, using the staff without crouching will cast the spell.
To use spells or wands, you need energy (which is not displayed in gameplay yet). After using a spell/wand you also get a small cooldown.
You can also craft amethyst apples, using four amethyst shards around a golden apple in the crafting grid. When eaten, it gives the effects of a golden apple, along with an energy boost.
Craft the Arcane Crafting table to create the Arcane Armour set! Each piece has a special power. The helmet and boots are active only when crouching. Wearing the full set increases the rate at which you gain energy!

Added Arcane Gauntlet
To use:
Gauntlet Abilities:
Can also be used as a very fast melee weapon (meant to be spam-clicked)
To use:
- Hold Item of Power (emerald, amethyst shard, diamond or netherite ingot) in offhand
- Hold Gauntlet of Power in mainhand
- Right click to use primary ability
- Crouch and right click to use secondary ability
Gauntlet Abilities:
- Emerald - Pirmary - Teleport, Secondary - Illusion
- Amethyst Shard - Primary - Magic Blast, Secondary - Lightning Blast
- Diamond - Primary - Strength+Resistance Boost, Secondary - Explosion
- Netherite Ingot - Primary - Debuff Cloud, Secondary - Very Powerful Fireball

In the Arcane Crafting Table, put a netherite ingot in each of the upper corners, and a copper ingot in the upper, left, and right edges. Finally, put an obsidian in the center.
It should look like the Arcane Helmet recipe, but with copper ingots instead of amethyst shards.
Ok so, first you need to unlock the spell. Usually, this takes a very long time, and happens during normal gameplay, but there's a command to give you all the spells.
The spells are visible in the advancements tab.
To unlock all spells, do /advancement grant @s from sorcery:spellcasting/root
After you unlock all the spells, first make sure your energy is high enough (you can eat an amethyst apple to increase it by 100, and no spell as of now needs more than 100 energy to cast)
Then, crouch and use the combat staff (right click) to switch spells, until you find the spell you want to use.
Then, stop crouching and right click with the combat staff. This should give you the effects.
