An inconvenient data pack where breaking blocks breaks them down into their crafting parts. If a block has multiple crafting recipes (uses any wood types, any stone types, etc), then it will randomly drop one of those block types. Using silk touch will drop the block as normal.

The fact that it also drops random block types for wood and stone makes inventory management just the slightest bit more difficult. This would work really well as an extra little challenge when playing survival
