Want to have nice Custom Trees instead of the boring Vanilla ones?
Here you go. (now more vanilla friendly)
This is a Variant of my Custom Trees from Saplings pack.
With this Datapack every sapling that grows will grown into a Custom Tree (multiple variants and rotation per Type).
Just grow the sapling as you normally would (will also work with natural random tick growth)
Single Saplings and 2x2 supported.
If you plan on using this pack in a Survival World, I highly recommend
trying it out in another World first, because these Trees will override Blocks that are in their way!
Your are able to craft 4 Logs from 3 Wood, since most trees are made of Wood, not Logs.
If you want to change the default growth of saplings back to vanilla trees klick the corresponding option in chat after running:
/function custrees_modest:config
If you place a Sapling and see this particle it has been converted to a
Custom Sapling (kinda hard to see with flowering azaleas)
To grow Vanilla Trees, sneak while placing it (this can be reversed in the config)
Cherry trees have not been overhauled for this pack, since they fit pretty well with the custom trees already
The Trees used in this Pack are from this Map and have been modified by me!
The Mushrooms and Nether Trees are built by me.
The Custom Trees have a special property that Dark Oak had when it was released =)

Might be worth trying to use it on 1.18 tho, could work, might not.
and click on the vanilla option there.
or set $custree_modes_treetoggle custree_modest_toggle 1
not sure if the new macros fuck with my $, might have to change that, but shouldnt be ur issue if the pack works ^^
You have to replace the structure nbt files in: "structures/trees/name" and "structures/bee_trees/name"
keep the exact names the files have rn.
Then (if you changed the dimensions of the structure) you have to adjust the "functions/tree/grow/name.mcfunction" lines, that place the structure block. You need to adjust the "posX:-2,posZ:-9" at the end of the line to match the size of your structure.
Iirc that should be it. Keep in mind, structure blocks have a max size, and you cant just go with 2 structure blocks with the datapack unless more code.
