As a roguelike game, you can learn many skills, but the skill books are randomly got from trades.
I also create a final boss in this data pack, have fun :)
BTW, this data pack also works fine on the vanilla server 1.19.3.
Advancement
you can follow it to play.
Skill
You need to get the skill book to learn and upgrade your skills, there are 6 skills and 3 levels for each, each upgrade/learn cost you 20 experience levels.
Hold the skill book and sneak 4 seconds to upgrade the skill.
If you want to know your skill level, hold Rogue Tips and sneak 4 seconds to see, you can make Rogue Tips with 3 papers + 1 stick on a crafting table
you can buy skill books from Bily with Rouge Tips and Legend Ink (loot from Jack).
Character
There are many characters in this world, and each of them can be NPC or an enemy, depending on the development of the story.
How to Play?
you can just kill Jack and sell the Legend Ink to Bily to get the skill book and upgrade your skill, you can download other data packs to play with it.
Or you can play the main story and defeat Ash (not recommend because this is too hard)

if the arrow you shut is left on the ground, the arrow will rain nearby.

Method to meet the boss
First, you need to feed Bily (hit the chicken and fight the Hungry Traveler, and complete the first trade), then you will get an empty bucket, hold it and sneak 4 seconds to get the Ancient Coin.
Second, Sell the Ancient Coin to Tony's shadow clone, this behavior will trigger a raid, complete it and get the Ash's Hallows.
Third, put the Ash's Hallows onto the blaze spawner in the fortress (or anywhere if you download other data packs or mods) to summon Ash.
