    Mining Dimension

    Datapack 1.16.2 - Made by Noé




    [​Work in progress. Some things may change in futures updates !]
    Changes in V2 :
      - Evokers no longer appears. I forgot they were giving a totem of undying °o° !
      - Particles amount has been decreased
      - You don't need to unzip the files anymore to make them work ! (true for the datapack but also for the ressources pack)
      - A short video will came out tomorrow to explain how to install and use the datapack :)


    - Presentation

    This datapack adds a new dimension to Minecraft specifically dedicated to mining (although it can be used for other things!). So, this world is more or less flat and entirely made up of stone. It is accessible via a brand-new portal, specific to this dimension.


    - Specificities


    Portal: Made of stone bricks, 2 blocks wide and 3 blocks high, activated by placing lava inside. An arrival portal will be generated in the mining dimension. These portals work like those of the nether (possibility of creating several to go to different places; the coordinates of the two dimensions are binded).

    Coordinates: 1 block in the mining dimension corresponds to 10 blocks in the normal world (this is a bit better than the nether for making shortcuts).

    Mobs: No passive mob! Here, we only find the usual aggressive mobs in the overworld, as well as a few even less cool buddies (Evoker, Vindicator, vex and Ravager). Good luck !

    Ores: Just like in the overworld EXCEPT diorite, andesite, granite and dirt which have been removed.

    Misc: Night Vision is always on in this dimension ! Although, bed are not working (they explode like in the nether) but respawn anchors can be used.

    - Présentation

    Ce datapack rajoute une nouvelle dimension à Minecraft dédiée spécialement au minage (même si elle peut servir à d’autres choses !). Ainsi, ce monde est plus ou moins plat et entièrement constitué de stone. On y accède via un tout nouveau portail, spécifique à cette dimension.


    - Caractéristiques

    Portail : En stone bricks, de 2 blocs de large et 3 de haut, activable en plaçant de la lave à l’intérieur. Un portail d’arrivé sera généré dans la dimension de minage. Ces portails fonctionnent comme ceux du nether (possibilité d’en créer plusieurs pour aller à différents endroits ; les coordonnées des deux dimensions sont liées).

    Coordonnées : 1 bloc dans la dimension de minage correspond à 10 blocs dans le monde normal (c’est un peu mieux que le nether pour faire des raccourcis).

    Mobs : Aucun mob passif ! On ne trouve ici que les mobs agressifs habituels dans l’overworld ainsi que quelques copains encore moins sympas (Evoker, Vindicator, vex et Ravager). Bon courage !

    Minerais : Tout comme dans l’overworld SAUF diorite, andésite, granite et dirt qui ont été retirées.

    Structures : Mineshaft et spawners tout simplement. Pas de villages ou autres.

    Bonus : Vision nocturne toujours activée dans cette dimension ! Les lits ne fonctionnent pas (ils explosent comme dans le nether) mais vous pouvez utiliser des respawn anchors.

    Patch for the ressource pack :) there are no more melon armor/mobs :D

    UGHHH THIS IS SO BAD THIS BROKE MY WORLD I DELETED THE DATAPACK IT STILL DOES NOT REMOVE THE PORTAL AND I CANT GO TO THE NETHER WHAT THE HELL DUDE

    Hi, I downloaded this then broke the portal by accident and now it does not work. Please help with this.

    Is there a way to properly uninstall this? I've removed everything from my minecraft world, but ever since downloading this I've lost access to my neather and still don't have my neather after uninstalling everythin' that I could see.

    I did manage to fix my neather. I think since I started playing on the snapshots, that's what corrupted it. I'mma leave a link to how I fixed my neather for anyone else who comes across this bug.

    When there's an update for 1.17 for this datapack I'mma reinstall it, just happens to be supplies in the neather are kinda important to me. lolz.

    You can simply change the loot table for the evoker so that he does not drop the totem in your dimension

    It allows the portal to have a custom texture on it (not on the blocks but in the portal).
