Every time a play a "big" game like Rome 2 Total War or Anno 2070, after around twenty minutes my screen will go black and the button that shows that my laptop is on is blue [meaning on]. The only way I have figured out to get it to turn back on is to restart it by either unplugging the recharger [I have removed by battery so that it is full when I go on holidays etc.] or by holding down the blue power button until my laptop turns off.
Here are my laptop specs.
Manufacturer: Samsung
Processor: AMD A6-4400M APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics 2.70 GHz
Installed memory (RAM): 6.00 GB (5.47 GB usable)
System type: 64-bit operating system.
It is running on a windows OS and it is approx. one year old. I have not made any modifications to it [aside from using a second monitor for it] and this has not occurred before but since two months ago it has started.
I hope you can help!

Thanks, I'm cleaning out my laptop and getting a cooler!

It sounds like your computer is overheating. The cheapest way to fix this is to buy a "fan mat", which you put under your laptop. http://www.newegg.com/Laptop-Cooling-Pads/SubCategory/ID-319

Could be overheating like everyone else said, or could just be that your laptop cant handle those games.

It can handle those games, the specs are fine for the games and I have run both them before the summer started perfectly but I think it is overheating from the very hot summer.

Thank you, I shall take your advice and clean my laptop and, if I can find a way for my laptop not to get wet then I shall put and icepack under it!

If your computer is overheating, it's most likely that your laptop is having a hard time circulating air through it, thus making it overheat. So.... clean the dust in your laptop.

In addition to this, make sure your laptop is elevated and not laying flat so air can get under it.

Im guessing your computer is overheating. Put an icepack under it xD
