So, what I wanted to do in my Minecraft world was to add, lets a something in real life, like a sandwich, fully HD, but in Minecraft. I've searched tutorials about what I'm trying to do but didn't have any luck, so I was hoping if someone could tell me how? Thanks in advanced!

All you need is real life sandwich image, just try searching for real life sandwich.

Like Pepijn said, the only way to get a "new" item is to use a resourcepack. You can also change the name and add lores with NBTExplorer.

You can't just add actual new items in the game without modding it. The best you can do without fully modding an item in the game, is using a resourcepack to retexture a current item in the game.

Is this a mod that adds a new item or a resource pack that changes an existing item to look like a sandwich?
