Colored sign text renders in different color!!!

So, im making a map, and i have a problem.
i used colored signs EVERYWHERE while making this with optifine.
so to test it, i played it in vanilla aaaand this happened!

when the sign is faced east/west, the colors render bright, while they are placed otherwise, it messes up!
please tell me, i just need to change a video setting or something in a custom resource pack to fix it, in stead of requiring my players to install optifine...

thx, that helped (kinda), can't i edit something in a resourcepack to shade it?

This is normal. Nothing you can do about it. East/west sides are shaded, as they are facing the sun.
