Welcome, adventurers, to the
Quest of a True Adventurer!

Those who attempt this quest may not yet be true adventurers; however, this is a quest by which they may be proven worthy of the title!

The complete adventure map will present the player with 8 accessible worlds from the very start, each with their own theme, threat, and 8 levels of differing challenges. Upon completion of all 8 worlds, a realm of challenge, difficult for even true adventurers, awaits. While undertaking the quest, no adventurer can overlook the fact that there are plenty of hidden treasures to be found - relics are especially valued among these intriguing discoveries as they can be used time and time again once found, provided the adventurers using them have first proven their worthiness. Yet who knows what lies beyond the boundaries of exploration? Maybe a secret realm?
... okay, probably not.

Ah, but no wise adventurer goes empty-handed! Whenever an adventurer enters a level, they are presented with many selections of kits - some of which can be unlocked upon completion of corresponding worlds. For those who have just started the map, however, there lies a basic selection of kits, each of which helping to ensure survival in one aspect or another. Yet these kits are not simply designed to complete levels; they are each designed to surmount otherwise impossible obstacles for other kits!

Examples:

Berserker:
  • Formidable power with each strike, toppling many a foe regardless of their defenses.
  • Slow combat provides a disadvantage against speedy or numerous opponents.
Knight:
  • Outstanding defense against most physical threats, providing an extra edge in swarm combat.
  • Armor does come at the price of movement speed, however. One can only do so much under an overbearing suit of armor.
Archer:
  • Powerful ranged capabilities. Potent enough, in fact, that there is hardly a foe that can escape or assail without suffering many a fatal blow first.
  • Being cornered is not exactly the best of things when your strongest weapon is a bow - especially when your melee is not much of an alternative and your armor hardly protects you.
Hunter:
  • Combination of melee and ranged combat capabilities, allowing for all-around combat possibilities.
  • Even with the advantage of a boost in various physical combat fields, there is some lack of necessary potency somewhere along the way - maybe the armor is too weak, the sword is not strong enough, or perhaps the bow is rather futile where least desired.
Scout:
  • Capable of scaling some walls out of reach for most people, leaping certain wide gaps, or even dodging most dangerous hazards - pretty good for adept parkourists.
  • Lacks much necessary combat gear.
Wizard:
  • Master of magic, be it potions or flinging fireballs at things.
  • Carrying useful things is nice and all... except when your inventory is pretty tightly crammed!
Tamer:
  • Excellent team setup, be it providing buffs to fellow adventurers... or simply fellow pets.
  • When pets die, the owners are kind of... weak to say the least.
Rambo:
  • Oh, yes... the stick. Everyone loves the stick... except for the person having to use the stick.
  • But hey! It's hard to pass up DOUBLE REWARDS on completing a level with this kit!(Besides, you will be noticed in the chat for using the kit.)

Once said adventurer selects a kit, he/she may select any extra provisions desired to help ensure successful completion of the level. These do come at a price, however, and not all of these will simply be handed out to any adventurer. That is why any adventurers who wish to obtain special items before entering a level must prove themselves worthy of them, be it heavy grinding of mobs, completing any of these challenging levels, and/or utterly destroying... the bosses!

Oh, yes... the bosses! So many different bosses of various forms, be it as dreadful as a mummy with a curse... or even as wacky as a bulldozer growing mushrooms! They lurk within many of the levels, whether obstructing the path for adventurers, or lying in wait to claim their greedy relic-hunting victims!

Do you feel... ADVENTUROUS? Then stay tuned for more previews of this project! I will look forward to your comments.

Thanks for viewing, and have a wonderful day!
