Updating resourcepack with optifine feautures to the 1.8

Hi I want to update my pack to the 1.8 but I don't want to lose the optifine feautures. Is it possible to update a resourcepack with optifine stuff to the 1.8 and then play with it on the 1.7 with the optifine stuff to ?
