Creeper Minion destroys blocks

I have a Creeper Minion named Snake from the Mutant Creatures mod. I've set gamerule mobGriefing to false, set Snake's Destroy Blocks OFF, but he still destroys blocks! HELP!

probably the Mutant Creatures Mod doesn't work with mobGriefing.
