This server is running 1.8 spigot build. It has been updated to a complete 1.8 server! The reason for the spigot build, is that it allows us to give to most of the up to date Minecraft gameplay, while providing protection for your stuff. Currently, we accept ages 16+.

Introduction: Greetings everyone, Dark Ascension is a survival server. We are looking to build an active community. The rules listed below are meant to be followed and respected. Contests, server builds, and all events will be posted on the forums and we would like our members to be active in participating in these events. All server changes will be held by high majority vote. We currently allow teleporting via players.



Rules:
1. No Griefing/Stealing - Breaking or placing blocks to ruin or destroy a players structure is strictly prohibited. Taking items from a players chest without their permission is strictly prohibited.

2. No Client Mods/Exploits - Client modifications or exploits to the game are not allowed in any way. (Item duplication, speed, x-ray, etc)

3. No Advertising or Spam - Do not advertise other servers or websites. Do not fill the chat with repeated messages.

4. Be Respectful - If someone has harassed you, DO NOT act on it. Take a screenshot and tell an admin. We are here to help.

5. No Open World PvP - There will be designated PvP zones in the future if we get enough players interested in it.

6. You Must Register on the Website - Registering on the website is and always will be a requirement to play on the server. Not only does it make it easier for me and Literate to see how long a player has been active/inactive, it also helps us get an idea of how many players we have without having to go in game to check the whitelist.

7. Do not AFK for Extended Periods of Time - This uses up server resources and reduces mob spawns for everyone else.

8. You Must be Active on the Server - We will give you 1 month of being inactive(not logging in) before we will unwhitelist you. If you come back and are disappointed in being removed from the whitelist, you're more than welcome to go to the Minecraft forums and fill out another application. We want a very active community. Again, we know you have lives. If you know you're going to be gone for more than 2 weeks, let us know.

9. Check the Forums - The forums will be your main source of information for the server. It will show contests, server downtime/maintenance, basic information, and many other things. Do not send us in-game mail if it's important. Post it on the website or send us a private message via the website.

10. Have Fun - This is all about having fun, we enjoy your company and hope you enjoy ours.
