One thing I have to say is, Can I get a diamond?

Hack-bridging (0.5 blocks per second)

This version of bridging can be done by almost EVERYBODY, (this is exclusive to bedrock edition) This is done by placing a block in the air and then walking on the new block, then repeating the process.

Scorpion bridging (0.7 bps)

To scorpion bridge, place a block and go to the end of the block and place your crosshair at the bottom of that block, then place a new block and place 3 blocks on top of the new block. Then, repeat the process

Pig bridging (0.2 bps)

Horse bridging but with a pig

Inclined sneak onestack (1 bps)

To complete, incline sneak but instead of going the opposite direction, place a block before you go the opposite direction.

Horse Bridging (1.1 bps)

Get on a horse and start bridging, move the horse slowly for more accuracy

Boost bridging (1.2 bps)

You need 2 people to complete this. Somebody punches you and you bridge in the air.

Cross bridging (1.3 bps)

To cross-bridge, go to the edge of a block and place a block on the corner of the side of a block. Then continue, this will cause you to make a cross bridge.

Sneak-onestack backward (1.3 bps)

To complete, look at the bottom of the side of a block and hold down the jump button and the s key, then, continue.

Sneak-bridging (1.83 blocks per second)

First, you’ll have to find a reason to bridge, so make a tall tower. To start bridging, sneak to the edge of a block and look at the side of the block, then place the wielded block to cross one block while sneaking, then repeat but to the same block. If you got that down, you're ready to try the next level

Diagonal bridging (1.7 bps)

Sneak to the corner of a block and place down a block, then repeat the process.

Inclined sneaking (1.8 bps)

Place a block then go to the side of the block you placed and place another block. Then go to the opposite side of the new block.

Double bridging (1.8 bps)

Place two blocks side by side and sneak in the EXACT middle of the two blocks then hold down the place key.

Diagonal centric sneaking (1.8 bps)

This is diagonal bridging but more to the center of a block

Doublehandbridging strait 1.9 (1.9 bps)

Place a ladder on the block you are bridging on then place a block side of the ladder to make a new block. Then repeat the process.

Sneak-onestack sidewards (2 bps)

Sneak on a block then go to the end of that block and place your crosshair at the bottom of the block, then face sidewards and place the block down and then jump, then redo the process.

Speed bridging twostack (2.1 bps)

Place a block and go to the end of that block walking once you're at the end of the block make sure to sneak, repeat this 2 times, and then place a block under your feet while walking

Speed bridging threestack (2.3 bps)

Same as two stack but repeat the process three times

Speed-bridging (2.31 blocks per second)

This version of bridging is done by walking back to the end of a block and then sneak a split second from falling. Then, place a block while sneaking and then unsneak to start walking backward. If you're done with that, you're ready for a challenge.

Scaffold (2.36254354 blocks per second)

This is completed by using scaffolding, I mean yeah, it’s in the name. So let's get back, place scaffolding on the place you want to bridge, and then jump to the air block after it, this will cause a glitch in the game that makes the first scaffold disappear and the new scaffold to appear as the air block, then repeat the same process.

Samabridging (4 bps)

This is god bridging but sneak after the walking block you placed.

Eagle bridging (4.4 bps)

Samabridging but sneak after 3 blocks

breezly bridging (4.5 bps)

God bridge but walk in a diagonal switching line, this one is hard so it’s worth showing to your friends

God bridging (4.6 blocks per second)

If you're ready for this, you are a pro. This type of bridging is done by walking backward without sneaking at all. To do it, line your crosshair at the exact middle of a block and then walk backward in a straight line without letting go of the place block key, remember, Dream can’t even do this. So this is worth telling to your friends, but there’s one faster and yeah, you can jump, but even faster.

Ninja bridging (4.69 blocks per second)

This next bridging method is called ninja bridging, you technically god bridge while jumping but with a tiny twist to it. You have to put your corsair near the bottom of the block, just to note: this is easier on the java edition. Once your crosshair is lined up, start walking backward, and jump at the same time.

Straf bridging (4.9 blocks per second)

This IS god-bridging, but instead of walking backward, walk sideways

Walk-jump-bridging (5 blocks per second)

If you got here you're an expert. No questions. instead of walking backward and jumping, what about walking forwards? This is actually possible because when you look all the way down you actually tilt 181o so you actually place a block on one line of pixel, making this extremely hard. This trick is easier with momentum so jump to the block you want to bridge on and GO. If you have mastered this you're ready for the 0.1% tile.

Telly-bridging(6 blocks per second)

Telly-bridging is jump-sprinting and turning backward for less than a 1/10 of a second, it’s even possible without turning back at all, but now if you did that you are going into the 0.05>% tile. To complete this use parkour for momentum and hold down the sprint, jump, and place buttons for best results. Now you can flex on some YOUTUBERS!

Andromeda bridging (8 blocks per second)

This is ANDROMEDA bridging, to complete, build a 2-block high roof above you for as many blocks as you want to go. Then, go back to where you started, use momentum, and then do it.

The cyclic storm principle (15 bps)

For this you need two players, one player needs ender pearls and a knockback 2 wooden sword. The bridger needs a bunch of ice. The first layer then ender pearls at the player whose bridging then instantly hits them with the sword causing extreme knockback to the player. Then the bridger does a HUGE block extension

Light-bridging (20.672 blocks per second)

Light bridging is telly bridging, but SO MUCH FASTER! You need soul speed 3, stacks of soul soil, ice, a speed potion, Another player with ender pearls and a knock-back two sticks, and a leaping potion. How to complete: drink your speed potion and leaping potion, then put the soul sand in your hand and place the block under your feet, then run and jump while the other player throws the ender pearl at you and hits you with the kickback stick, causing extreme knockback, this is the fastest POSSIBLE bridging method in Minecraft.

Best reasons to use bridging and which type

  • Lava lakes (speed)
  • Bedwars (telly, speed, god, andromeda)
  • Going to the outer end islands (god, telly)
  • Speedruns (speed)
  • Racing (telly, andromeda, light)
  • Water (god)
  • Sky wars (speed, god, telly, andromeda, scaffold, straf)
  • Race (telly, andromeda, light)
  • Skyblock (all except for light)

Best blocks to use for bridging and why

Cobblestone: has a high blast resistance and is very easy to get

Ice: causes to move the player faster when walked upon

Drip leaf *only on water*: causes to fall when walked on making it harder for other players to cross

Dirt: easy to get

Deny: doesn’t allow other people to place blocks on it

Slime blocks: breakable instantly, which makes it good for spleef, it also adds jump boost.

FACTS

  • The Guinness world record for the longest bridge is 30,000 blocks
  • The fastest bridging EVER is 17 bps
