Getting DDoSed. What do I do?

First what you need to do is contact your host and declare that you want either an IP change or [in my opinion] change your host to one with DDoS protection.
After this, ban the IP's of the people and or person causing the DDoS.
I know it seems redundant to ban after the IP change, vice versa. However it is just extra precaution.
These are really not hard to comprehend ways to do this. Another way you can go about it is by shutting the server down for 24 hours, they tend to not stick around.

If a host doesn't have DDoS protection, move.

I would just contact the host, however, are you sure that it is a definite DDoS? I'm pretty sure that beastnode has a DDoS mitigation service so you should look into that.
