How do i install the API

Hey, I'm interested in creating Minecraft plugins, i already know Java. When i was looking at tutorials on Youtube it said i needed the bukkit api and of course, DMCA takedown so i cant access it. i heard spigot have an API but i have no idea on how to install it or anything and i need help. please all help will be appreciated

All you do is download spigot.jar. Then in eclipse, right click on your project. Go to properties --> build path --> library --> addJar should be somewhere (Or something similar). Click that and add the spigot jar.
