About Us
It's been over a year since we first started High Voltage, and we've built up an amazing community of awesome, friendly, mature and fun-loving players. We like to go on crazy adventures, build huge amazing things, play some competitive events like UHC or Capture the Wool now and then, and even sometimes play completely different games together on Steam!

Many of our reg's lives have gotten busier of late, so now that our 1.8 plugins are all up to date, we're now reopening the doors to new applicants to welcome to our community. A strong, close community is our goal, if you prefer to play alone, we're probably not a good fit for you.

One of our long-time regulars made a tour video of our current map, that you can see below. We have a few members interested in Youtube, so you'll probably find someone to do videos together with if you're into that.




The Server
We run a dedicated 24-7 server. Currently we have 20 slots with no plans to increase. We aim stay small to keep the close knit community feel.

We like challenge and adventure, so we play on hard difficulty (might be adding no-regen soon). Although our core gameplay is vanilla survival, we have recently added a couple of fun plugins to add brewery and a few new mobs. We also have a second server that we use for events and mini-games like UHC, have an active sykpe group and forums.

We're proud of the fact that our server is not pay-to-win (we appreciate and recognize our donators, but do not give in-game advantages over other players). Keeping the game fair and enjoyable for all is important to us. We are 100% supported by player donations.


Our Staff
The staff are all mature adults, who play legit like everyone else. We don't randomly choose people we don't know from forums for staff positions.

Staff ensure rules are enforced when required and being with us a long time or donating does not give you immunity to the rules. While we have a very generous community, taking anything that's not yours (and not labeled as free) is stealing and will be dealt with as such. We have a very honest and trustworthy community, and aim to keep it that way.


Rules
We want a happy community, in order to achieve this some rules are required. They are mostly common sense for a mature server:

No hacking, xray, minimap tracking, flying etc.
No griefing or stealing.
Be mature and respectful.
Repair creeper damage and any other accidental damage.
Do not build more than 1000 blocks from 0,0 (anything beyond that is at risk of being deleted).
Try to use full English, refrain from text speak and unnecessary abbreviations.
No advertising.
