FULL PVP - Tired of wandering aimlessly around an infinite world looking for someone to kill? Our server revolves around the idea of nobody ever being 100% safe. We installed plugins such as livemap to track your enemies, and borderguard to limit the world. This way, you'll NEVER have to worry about not finding a target.
LIVE MAP - As mentioned immediately above, we hate when you have to wander aimlessly to find someone to kill. That's why we installed livemap, a realtime map of EVERYONE's locations! FACTIONS- To ensure amazing group fights and battles over territory we have installed Factions, an amazing PvP based plugin! Join a faction, create one, whatever you like!
BASE RAIDING - How fun is it to go loot a whole base dry? A lot. This is why even if someone has their important chests protected with LWC, we enabled LWC integration for Factions! Once you claim the land, ALL LWC chests are YOURS! But watch out...because you're not the only one who can do it! (LWC integration in factions temporarily disabled)
LOCKS- Now, let's be honest. If we didnt have SOME locks it'd just be vanilla. However, having infinite lock eliminates raiding and 50% of the PvP fun. That's why on Jmainguy, you can lock only up to SIX things! So you'd better choose wisely, and remember, even LWC doesn't make your chests 100% secure. (LWC integration in factions temporarily disabled)
LAG FREE- The #1 most common problem in PvP servers is LAG. We, on Jmainguy, HATE lag! This is why we made sure the RAM we recieve from our server is 100% dedicated! That means it's all focused to speeding up our server, eliminated 100% of lag!
ANTI-CHEAT - We have custom modded versions of several anti-cheat plugins. Sure, someone with skill may be able to bypass it. But we'll find out quickly and you'll be next on the ban list..
SKILLS (MCMMO) - To make PvP more interesting we added McMMO. This is a plugin that adds TWELVE skills for you to train! From archery to repair, axes to herbalism, there's a skill for everything. The higher you get, the more benefits you get from the skills!
What are the rules?
- ADMINS PVP FAIRLY. THEY ARE NOT ALLOWED TO SPAWN OR ENCHANT THEIR GEAR, HIDE FROM LIVEMAP, OR TP TO TARGETS. IF YOU SEE AN ADMIN YOU THINK IS ABUSING, REPORT IT TO IT_DEATHS, ZAWMBEE, OR ROTHGAR. DO NOT INSANELY SCREAM ABUSE AT THE ACCUSED ADMIN, OR ANY ADMIN. WE CHECK THE LOGS CONSTANTLY FOR SIGNS OF ABUSE.
- No killing people at their respawn point, or straight outside of spawn.
- No client side hacks, mods (this INCLUDES XRAY!), or XRay texture packs.
- You may not curse excessively, especially at other players or admins.
- Image No racist or vulgar skins.
- Griefing/Stealing ARE VERY MUCH ALLOWED!
- No setting homes in other players homes.
What commands can us defaults use?
- /sethome - Will set your home.
- /home - Teleports you to your home.
- /afk - Alerts players that you are AFK.
- /suicide - Self explanatory.
- /msg - Sends a message to a player that you type in.
- /ignore - Ignores a player.
- /r - Quick way of responding to a message.
- /lock - Use LWC to lock your chests!
- /f - Factions commands.
- /tpa - Request a teleport command.
