Hi so right now I am using a mac book air, but now it's getting pretty laggy and I think I want to buy a new one. Can someone help me out and give me some suggestions. Oh and btw I don't know much about computers.

If you guys can I would like:

-pre built (idk if that's possible, I don't know how to build one)
-60+ FPS on minecraft for most servers
- under $300
-desktop
- has 3 usb ports
- can run Skype and minecraft at the same time

Thanks for reading!

it's hard to get working, and make sure to back up a lot. you can actually completely mess up windows in the process of enabling custom themes

I'll definitely have to keep that in mind. Thanks!

It wasn't just for task manager, I have an overall custom theme for windows 10.

I have to figure out how to disable that ribbon.. it really doesn't suit the rest of the theme...

Ooh, now I want to mess around with themes!

On a side note, how did you change the theme colors for Task Manager?

It tends to spike up a lot, and to me when skype is open, games end up being laggy and very stuttery compared to when it isn't open

Interesting. That wasn't much of an issue for me even when I was on my old Pentium D system. iTunes would start lagging if I had it, Minecraft, and Skype running, but Skype didn't cause issues for games.

Latiodileskype takes up a lot of CPU

Granted I have a 6-core CPU, but I think the point is still valid. Skype doesn't take up a lot of CPU time on desktop. Skype Mobile, on the other hand, is a different story. That thing is so slow it's almost unusable.

OP, I highly suggest you build a computer. You'll have a much better shot at getting what you want in terms of performance.

you'll have some issues if you go for under $300 + 60fps + skype at the same time.. skype takes up a lot of CPU, either ditch skype for discord (better option) or have someone with better knowledge tell you a good build

plenty, most $500 prebuilts are decent.. mine handled shaders decently ~50fps before i installed a graphics card, if you want shaders though.. make sure it doesn't have an intel HD gpu, then you'll have problems
