My minecraft keeps crashing!

I load minecraft with "Minecraft 1.8.4" and then I join a server and it says "#

" and i was wondering if anyone can help me. Ive tried many diffrent things. Reinstalling minecraft.Joining different servers. None work. Please help

Go through your computer and delete every minecraft file possible even go into %appdata% and then re-install the game hope this helps!
