Minecraft Launcher Keeps crashing, doesn't open [Mac]
Crash Log:
http://pastebin.com/EEZXxH62
I am using a Mac running Yosemite. Everytime I try to launch Minecraft the launcher crashes. It tries to open the launcher menu, but crashes before the window can open. This has recently started to occur and renders me incapable to play Minecraft. I have already reinstalled Minecraft through deleting the "Macintosh HD/Users/vinayshah/Library/Application Support/minecraft" folder. I am currently running Java 1.8.
Please direct me as to how I can rectify whatever is wrong with my Minecraft, as I desperately want to play Minecraft again.
Thank you.

Are you running java 1.8, or java 8?

They are both the same thing. And I now run Java 1.7 a.k.a. Java 7.

He didn't ask for that. So get off of your PC master-race high horse and give him some real help.

Do you only have Java 1.8? Because last time I checked the launcher doesn't work with Java 1.8, also most mods use Java 1.7.

I uninstalled Java 1.8 and installed 1.7, but the crashes still occur.

What mac are you using?
Also, a mac has a chance of surviving the drop out of a window, although the screen might take some damage (I'm using a monitor.) unlike PCs, where you have to buy new ones every few years, macs are made to last.
