I haven't been able to play Minecraft for a week because of not being able to use the launcher. Each time I try to run it, it fails to connect with minecraft.net and I am unable to join and I am given the message "(SocketException: Permission denied: connect) when I try to log on using my username and password. On PMC I also noticed that on the PSA that 4 minecraft services are down. Anyone seeing the same thing? I have re-installed Java and minecraft.exe,rebooted my router, and tried to unblock minecraft.exe and java in Windows Firewall.
